Self building is an ambitious undertaking and we understand that building your own home from scratch can be both a daunting and exciting process.
We have a range of expertise and experience in many areas of self building, from the initial site analysis, financing your project, and interior design. After working across a variety of different self build projects, we have developed a unique process designed to offer you the best level of support throughout each stage of your self build. We will always tailor this to your specific project requirements.
At the beginning of your self build project, we will sit down with you to discuss your vision and understand exactly what it is you're looking for from your project. From here, we can carry out site analysis, coordinate any necessary surveys, and then help you develop a brief that will carry forward your project and dream design.
Throughout the concept design phase, we will work with you to transform your self build ideas and designs into sketches and computer aided modelling. We believe that a 3D model is the best way to bring your vision to life so that you can truly visualise your self build home.
In the developed design phase, we work further on your self build designs and test your proposal ideas with you and solidify your ideas. This includes creating plans and material samples to give you a feel for how your home will look. At the end of this stage, we can then submit your planning application and liaise with our wide reaching network within the local council & planning authority.
On submission of planning, we will work through technical designs and can even assist with appointing a design team and recommend a contractor or liaise with your chosen contractor(s). We can be as involved, or as little as you would like for your self build project. Some of our clients are competent within the industry and prefer a more involved approach at construction, whereas others wish to be hands off with a more turnkey service.
Throughout the entire construction process and the build of your self-built home, we will closely collaborate with you and the entire team. We understand that construction can be disruptive and complicated, our aim is to reduce as much stress and worry as possible, holding your hand through the process, implementing and overseeing the works so that they are finalised as intended, on time, and on budget.
